Consent policy

Synthetic media starts with permission.

Agent Avatar may be used to train and generate voice or face media only when you are the subject or have explicit, informed permission from the subject.

Allowed use

Use your own recordings and likeness, or material from a person who understands what will be trained and how it will be used. Keep evidence of consent when you are working on behalf of someone else.

Not allowed

• Cloning a person's voice or face without permission.
• Impersonating someone or presenting generated media as an authentic recording.
• Using generated likeness to obtain money, credentials, access, or trust through deception.
• Training on children, deceased people, or public figures where consent cannot be established.

Disclosure

Disclose synthetic media when a reasonable audience could mistake it for a real recording. Local processing does not remove the responsibility to use a likeness lawfully and honestly.
